Annual Symposium The 2013 MHA Patient Safety and Quality Symposium will be held April 25 and 26 at the Dearborn Inn. This symposium offers an exciting opportunity to explore innovative patient safety techniques and dialogue with others about how to enhance patient safety across the continuum. Learn new strategies and ideas from faculty who are game-changers in the health care and business world. Michigan health care providers are national leaders in patient safety and quality because they think innovatively about making health care better and safer. Continuing to learn from one another to reduce harm, improve outcomes, and apply best practices is what the annual MHA Patient Safety & Quality Symposium is all about. Since 2009, the symposium has brought together nearly 450 health care providers, medical and business executives in a single event annually to share innovative ideas and inspire others. These health care and community leaders are addressing health care improvement in detailed and creative ways with the goal of meeting the safety and quality standards that patients expect and deserve. They understand that success is best achieved by involving key stakeholders throughout the health care continuum to ensure the best care possible.
