Annual Symposium Credits
CONFERENCE PURPOSE: To increase the knowledge of
health care reform policy implication guidelines, develop
skills in patient engagement to providers and to increase
communication between physicians and nursing resulting
in better patient outcomes.
CONFERENCE OBJECTIVES:

Define how to deliver safe care in a changing health care
environment.

List at least one way that physicians and nurses can
break down communication barriers.

Discuss methods that staff can use to break down barriers
to communicate in order to change their culture.

Identify strategies on how to engage patients along with
patients' families in health care accountability.
